Medi-Plinth Ltd are proud of our participation in the regeneration of the Botswana Healthcare Project.

Health outcomes have improved in Botswana over the last few decades and Botswana’s public health system now has over 17 primary hospitals, 14 district hospitals, two referral hospitals, and one mental health hospital managed by the central government. Our group have been actively seeking to support health initiatives internationally and a meeting with the Botswana team at Arab Healthcare 2018, showcasing our products and expertise, led us to securing order to supply medical couches to support a new hospital build.

Our team has worked efficiently to complete the order of 133 medical couches within the time frame and these were shipped out by container on near the end of 2018. We are highlighting the process involved in building and shipping from our Ipswich manufacturing. The order travelled by by sea to Durban Port and by road to Gabarone, Botswana. A very busy day loading the goods into the containers, although the UK sunshine has made it a lot easier. A fulfilling thought to know we were part of a much bigger project to help health delivery and outcomes in nations outside of the UK.
